This is a small black switch with a metal arm that senses the location of the strut. It is located inder the corner panel wher ethe driver's side strut attaches to the body.

Never knew of this. Were they on all CE's?I'll check and see if I have one.If I do it is inop for some reason.I just finished putting in those rear hinges steve was selling put I don't remember seeing any thing like thaat but then again I wasn't looking for it.My anti theft system is inop so that might be why it don't work. If I have it I might be presuaded to give it up.
