Can you buy the black air cleaner stud nuts anywhere? I have 2 that look similiar but one is taller than the other.

I called Arts corvettes and he doesn't have them. Are they the same nuts used on an '84 or '85?

If one of the fasteners is taller than the other, is it possible to have it machined to the correct height?
Just a thought.

it may be possible to machine the taller one down to the lower ones height if the threads dont go too high. The 2 different heights nuts make me wonder if one is from a different year Vette?
