Open and look on the driverside door near the latch/lock mechenisum. There should be a white paper glued on the side that has the vin, all tyre pressure and size recommends and on top left corner has the month and year = this is your built date off the assembly plant. I did have the information for birthdays but i lost it... Sorry..

Thanks for all the info guys. :D I bought the 03 to drive and cruise around in since Im retiring my baby. I figured with all the things shes been in and what she is probably worth now that I would let her rest awhile. I will still take the 82 out for shows and p.r events and of coarse on my yearly toy drive. It was really cool last year, route 66 choose my 82 as one of the best of best. she was in the building being displayed for all too see with some of the other cars. I never knew how good she looked in a building until that day. It looked so good that I didnt even know it was my car. :) They even had security watching over our cars like hawks. I will never forget those 4 days. Had two camera interviews that day as well. Also got to meet Chip Foose and the really cool thing was that he drew a pic of my 82 on a tee shirt of theirs signed it and we got a pic together. Im trying to get him to do my 72 nova with factory made skyroof since it is a rare car. Hopefully he will do it. I wont let anyone touch the 82 since Im keeping her stock and original. Keep on vettin. April The Vettelady.

April, congrats in getting another vette. 8) As Mark said 'must be hard to choose'. Enjoy both of your vettes and drive safe.
