I am thinking of putting on a set of side pipes to spruce up the look & get a better sound than the stock system. Has anyone done this & is there a kit produced.

I've seen a regular '82 do that. I just don't know where to find the kit. Maybe check all the vendors.

I would go with those. More money but looks like this kit has a heat shield.

hmmm...I didn't think of that...I just thought it was a stronger mounting for the heavier chrome cover.
