:D Sold the 77 coupe last night . Down to 2 now , Any one know anything about NJ DMV , Here the situation , I bought the car in SC never titled it in Del , NJ say i have to have the car in my name , i"m calling De DMV in the morning :roll:

well it turns out i have to get a u title in my name .....they have to verify the vin # then i have to pay tax on it the i hand the Del title over to the new owner .....what a PITA ....all they want is there money ..... :? But thanks for all the responces :x

I didn't reply because from Arizona I have no idea what NJ has for a DMV.

But I can tell you there's no way it can be worse than the yahoo's we have to deal with at the AZ-DMV

So they told you how to do it, now comes the fight to actually make it happen... Good luck!!!

I think all Motor vehicle employees are PITA...... :lol: guess i would be if i had to deal with the public all day too

MB: Same here. Didnt know anything about NJ DMV, although PA is just as bad. :oops:


When i shipped my car back from Germany, they made me go to a Dealership and eval the car. Glad we know the guy and he brought it waaaaay down (Hey, it's dirty, $5000 less for that.. :shock: :) ). Then PA DMV made me pay for a dupe title and tax on the eval value. Car was bought here in the US, exported to Germany and reimported.. What a money scheme that is.. :roll:

When i bring it back home, it's household goods, and German DMV's rules are: If you owned it for more then 6 month = No Tax..

Watcha gonna do.. Just pay the Big Man the money.. :evil: :roll:

Just got done with DMV 238.00 dollars later , :roll: we split the bill :D
