Hi, ive just bought my vette a month ago and it is about to undergo an extensive make over. I have managed to find a rear hatch but not the hinges.Are the ones from steve still available and if so how do you order them?

I bought an 82 CE back in June. I had read about this many weeks ago while lurking on this site, but did not realize that it was active again.
I emailed Steve this past Saturday morning. Received an email back today. I have "paypalled" my $ for one set. Said he had 12 prepaid orders.
I am excited!

Per an email from Steve, this Friday, tommorrow, 8/10/07, will be the last day he is accepting orders. If you know anyone that needs these hinges let them know ASAP.

Hi Everyone.

There was a possibility of my moving to Europe, so I made no promises about making more hinges beyond the last batch.

We have decided against moving for the time begin and some people have been bugging me for months about the hinges. I don't have 8 buyers, but enough that I am going to make a batch of 8 anyway.

So there are a couple of sets available from this batch.

If you have contacted me in the past asking for hinges I will give you priority, otherwise it is on a first come basis. Cost will be $330 per set in advance as usual. I bumped the price 10% because all of my costs . . aluminum, abrasives, paint and especially shipping with insurance have gone up a lot since I made the first sets.
